Nunamaker, influenced by Edward Redfield, was known for his winter landscapes and skillful use of impasto and blended colors. He exhibited at major institutions including the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the National Academy of Design, and the International Gallery in Venice. The artist’s work is included in the permanent collection of the Michener Art Museum.
