places, captivated by the mountainous American landscape. His works are widely collected by major art
institutions and museums across the United States, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The
Brooklyn Museum, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum, among others. This painting depicts
the Allegheny Mountains in West Virginia.
