Note:
Throughout his fifty-year career, Alfred Thompson Bricher focused on depicting the landscapes of the New England coastline. He was particularly captivated by the remote shores of Grand Manan Island. For seventeen years, he drew inspiration from its rugged cliffs and vast seascapes, creating numerous works. This painting is a brilliant example of his Grand Manan series.
