Kate Holston Carpenter

Born in London, Kate Holston Carpenter studied at the Herkomer School in England, and with the renowned artists Benjamin Jean-Joseph Constant in Paris, and Jozef Israëls in Holland. She later moved to New York City where she studied at the National Academy of Design and worked as a painter, illustrator, and teacher.
